The Coachella Valley has been my home since 1980, with more than 34 of those years right here in Rancho Mirage. My story is a Rancho Mirage story: I built my life, my family, and my career in this community, and I have never stopped wanting to give back to it.
I began my career as an X-ray technician, spending 12 years at Eisenhower Health and Desert Regional Medical Center. In 1988 I stepped away from radiology to become a mom and welcomed my son, Zachary.
In 1994, I entered public service, and I spent 18 years serving the City of Cathedral City. I began as the Police Department’s Crime Prevention Specialist — meeting with neighborhoods, educating residents on safety and emergency preparedness, and coordinating with our business community. I went on to serve in Fire Department Code Enforcement, in the Redevelopment Agency during the revitalization of downtown Cathedral City, and ultimately as Deputy City Clerk. Under the guidance of Master Municipal Clerk Pat Hammers, I earned my Certified Municipal Clerk certification — and with it a real, working understanding of city budgets, revenue, assessments, and zoning. I later served as CEO of the Cathedral City Chamber of Commerce.
Today I am a realtor here in Rancho Mirage, which keeps me close to our neighborhoods, our housing market, and the families who want to call this City home.
In 2022, your votes elected me to the Rancho Mirage City Council. In November 2025, I was sworn in to serve as your Mayor. It has been my honor to give back through service as Commissioner and Chair of the Rancho Mirage Speaker Series, as Trustee-Treasurer of the Palm Springs Cemetery District, and on the boards of the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center at Eisenhower, Xavier College Prep, and St. Theresa.
My years in municipal government, my service as your Council Member and Mayor, and my work as a realtor have all deepened my understanding of our community’s needs. I vow to earn your trust, make informed decisions, and lead with transparency. I would be honored to once again earn your vote on November 3rd!
