In a City like ours, the right infrastructure isn’t about the latest gadget — it’s about reliability. It’s a cell signal that works when you need to reach a loved one or call for help. It’s power you can depend on through the heat of summer. It’s water managed wisely in the desert we call home.

I’ve worked to close the cellular coverage gaps too many residents have lived with, and I’ve supported our City’s long commitment to undergrounding power lines and to the Rancho Mirage Energy Authority — for power that is reliable, competitive, and cleaner. Alongside our regional partners, I invested early to secure the power capacity our community will need for the years ahead.

Reliability also means roads we can count on. Our City has committed to a multi-year infrastructure plan — roughly $22 million — to rebuild aging roadways and improve flood-prone crossings, adding safer, more connected routes for drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and golf carts alike. As I see it, deferring this work isn’t saving money; it’s borrowing against a more expensive future.

And because every drop matters here, I’ll keep backing our Turf Rebate and water-conservation programs — real stewardship of our most precious desert resource. Reliable, responsible, and built to last: that is the standard our residents deserve.
